Wow, I can't believe I have 10 days left of high school. It seems so surreal. I don't even know what to think. Part of me is really happy to finally be leaving all the silly rules and absurd people, but at the same time part of me wants to stay here forever, with my close friends.
As I lay here it's hard not to think back at all the stuff I've experienced here at DCHS. I'm not even going to attempt at listing all the things that stands out to me, at least not with this blog post. If you want a real quick, funny, and sad summary you should find James Shockley's video of his awards night song. It contains a lot of funny memories that will be hard to forget.
With 10 days left of senior year, I'm still not sure what to feel. I know I should be happy to get out of here, and some times I am. But most of the time I think of leaving Daviess County and a knot in my stomach forms. Leaving DC is something we all can't wait to experience until it is time to actually leave.
